In October 2009 AbShield remediated our condo in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. We believe that AbShield is a cutting edge product that stops the off gassing and corrosion of Chinese drywall without tearing out all the corroded Chinese wall board. The professional staff had our home completed within four days and followed through with everything they said they would do for us. This has been a perfect alternative to tearing out our drywall and the best part is it is cost effective and it works.

We contracted with AbShield to remediate our house after learning of the existence of Chinese Drywall. The process was done within the time parameters as originally stated and the house was subsequently cleaned to our satisfaction. All personal property that was removed to allow the process to be done was put back in its proper place. We found our house as good as new.

After a fire in November of 2008 I worked (fought is a better word) with the air quality company and contractor over an intermittent smoke smell in my home. It appeared after many years in the business their sense of smell was pretty much gone. Occasionally I would go to my neighbors for a few hours in the evening or go away for the weekend and when I would get back home the house would be full of a horrific smoke smell.
A year and a half later of the contactor just sticking their heads in my attic I still had no resolution. Finally a co-worker suggested I contact a company called AbShield as they worked with them on several projects. After meeting a representative and discussing the situation it was recommended that we use a product I had never heard of called AbShield GS-511, which is a smoke odor control coating system. Then I realized my next obstacle would be to convince my insurance carrier to use an outside company and a product they were not familiar with. A new adjustor assigned to my case agreed there was a problem when she left my house after 2 hours with a horrible headache and agreed to consider using AbShield GS-511. Unfortunately before we could submit the proposal my new adjustor had to go on a leave of absence. After another month of my contacting the replacement adjustor everyday about the situation, I finally received a check to cover the full amount for the treatment my attic.
My home has been odor free ever since and much to my surprise AbShield even called me a couple of weeks later to see if everything was okay. Not only does their product work, but they have great customer service as well.
